  1. Alexis… what a cool site, and what an fascinating life you have had. Here’s wishing you much success with the book!!

  2. Pat Poeppelmeyer

The book was a courageous endeavor with a reality check on ones priorities in life. Your obvious love for those who have shown their love and support to you in return shines through. Alexis, your father is someone I’m sorry I never got to meet. Would you be interested in sharing your story with my book club? We normally meet on the first Tuesday of each month. Let me know, please. Pat Poeppelmeyer ( Westerville Post Office is my second home…. )

  3. Pat, you should have received a response from me directly to your e-mail.

    Best,

    Alexis

  4. Alexus, I never knew that! I knew you as little Holly…(smiles). I am, of course, Chip’s older brother, Tommy. I’ve discovered you again, by accident…or maybe, it was fate!

  5. Hi There.
I was stage manager for Bubbling Brown Sugar and knew her father professionally…. My good fortune. Please send me an invite to the book signing. CONGRATULATIONS!

  6. Alexis,
Hello. I’m Alan Onickel. Eddie Wright Jr. who was my mentor was in both Guys and Dolls and Irma la Deuce (in London) that your Dad Choreographed. He also appeared with Chip in a revue at Talk of the Town in London backing up Helen Gelzer that your Dad put together. I have a few articles and other memorabilia from those few years (’76-’78). If you had any photos and or memories you could share or wanted to see the ones that I had I’d be glad to arrange something.
    Thanks,
    Alan

hi holly, you may or may not remember me but i was the little 8 year old kid in the play stop the world i want to get off. i remember your family very well. i have very fond memories of Billy and Chip, and Parker was my hangout buddy as we were the youngest kids on the set! while at work today i very randomly googled your dad’s name (and was sad to learn that he passed away). i then googled parker and then you and learned about your book signing coming up in may. i told my mom, dad and sis tonight (we all live in brooklyn) as it brought back alot of good memories and they were very excited about the event – i will bring them along to your book signing. also pretty wild, i saw a picture of your 13th birthday and i think i’m the kid smiling! wow! congratulations and look forward to seeing you. it was great to learn about your family, and as a kid of course i never knew how prolific their past was!! very awesome!!
